Years back while I was browsing through my local used bookstore I happened to come across a hard-covered cook book titled The Greens Cookbook by Deborah Madison, interested by the title I decided to pick it up and start flipping through it. This was not your usual cook book filled with ghastly pictures and cheesy graphic pointers scattered throughout the page, It is filled with excellent recipes each telling a their own story through the idea of using locally available fresh ingredients.
